Sawadeekaa.. Woooot!! Wassup bebs! Yeah yeahs ke mama ole ole ah ah. Seems like one of our friend is sucked into the tunnel of lup... Yeah that's right. Luuuuup. Heart. what else had I missed huh?? Banging the Kok we did (no dirty thoughts girls). I had a bang( no pun intended) of a good time! Here are the highlights;
1st Night
Touched down around 10pm Bangkok time. Did I mention that we didn't have a hotel for our first night. Oh yeah. And so we did “The Terminal” way. Overnight at the airport, ranked 28th in the world. I was expecting goats and sheeps moving freely there but to my dismay, there was none. Katooeys (transvestites) aplenty but sheep and goats anone. Slept for like only 15mins out of the 7 hours we were there. As the clock strikes 5am, we were ready for Bangkok. Woohoo! It didn't take long for Bangkok to hit you hard. Traffic was bad, despite the early morning. (Only did we learnt later that, tak sah kalau keluar tak kene traffic jam.)
Once reached the hotel at around 6.20a.m, Mr Sandman did his thing and so that eats up a little of our 2nd day.
clouds galore form the room.
2nd day
Food. Important. So off we go to Baiyoke tower which offers Halal buffet.But suay kememe betol, the buffet is not halal anymore. In the end we had to settle for Indian food. Yes! Can you believe it?! We are eating Naan and briyani in Thailand. But we did get an Indian cooked Tom Yam soup..
Prior to the trip, we were worried about being in a foreign country that none of us had visited before. You know 4 gorgeous ladies with just a single man for protection.. Not good. And yes. One of us did get molested. In broad daylight. With the rest just looking on and doing nothing.
Why? Because it is the solo hero who was “taken advantage” of! Haha. Well, the culprit was a tuk-tuk driver who had offered us an extremely cheap price to go to our next stop. But according to *ahem my research, these species of tuk tuk drivers will make several stops in order to earn commissions from the shops he brought us to. In fact, it has been reported that passengers may not even get to their destination!
What's next you may ask? He hug our solo hero with such chummy affection. When that didn't work, his hug take a turn into a gay mode. Where were the rest of us? Laughing our heads off.. Even his girlfriend didn't protect her knight. HAHA So our maiden tuk tuk ride wasn't meant to be. And we were off to our 1st heaven- Suan Lum night Market- a lesser known shopping place, thanks again to *ahem my research. I'll leave you with my “damages” done there. Will tell you about my third day later.
