A TRIBUTE.
Never have I felt this. Each, filled with joy and satisfaction. Forces me to consume the thing I've always detest. Why does it always leaves me empty handed and wanting more? Greeted by juices of goodness as my teeth pierces through. My woes as an unpaid employee are suddenly far away.

Hey korang korang!!~~
This Chinese New Year holidays, we the Makin Menjadi Girls will step back in time where there are no electricity, no air-cons, no Dvds & no clean water.. hahaha.. what are we gonna do?! We, me, Ain & Mama have planned that
WE, all five of us!!, should go for a PICNIC AT THE BEACH!!!~~ WOOOOOOoooooo HOOOOOooooo!!!!... So amacam?! Whose up for the idea?! Come on guys!!~ Hahaha.. K-k.. This is the plan... Firstly who is gonna come.. Just us FIVE lah!!~ ok.. if korang cant make it.. the picnic is still gonna happen.. WHY?! Cause firstly, nak experience picnic-ing konon!! Second cause biler masa lagi lah nak buat.. Non dah nak balik seh!! hehehe.. & thirdly, since its CNY, no shops or shopping centres in the right mind would buka kedai seh... So wats the next solution?! Da Beach of course!! So here is the suggested itinerary list for that special day!!~

Just to keep a record of Ain's version of OUR HISTORY!!
7 years in the sea. High tide. Low tide. Calm . Rough. This ship is still sailing. With 5 of its crews, each with her own duty. To clean the net, to set the bait, to reel the fishes in.... These fishes keep coming in. We roast, fry, steam and even eat them raw. Ok sounds a bit off. I better stop before I dive into the dynamics of turtles and sharks mating rituals. Not with each other (as in a turtle and shark mating, and you'll get turtlarks). I mean with their own species. Because I caught this documentary how this species of endangered sharks who are so picky in choosing their mates...Guess that explains why they are endangered.. huhu..
Wait.. backtrack. What I was trying to write is about our friendSHIP. Aaaah.. that's why I was incorporating sea related words, trying to write a figuratively, deep prose about our friendSHIP. But I got carried away. So the moral of our friendship is that it's never a one way road. We encounter many fork turns. And sometimes with roadkills(obstacles). You know.. those birds that were “lenyek” on the road. Speaking of which.. I saw a flattened.. ok I'll stop now. Bad idea for letting me write about our HISTORY. Cos I've always wondered why it's HIStory and not HERstory. Double standard I tell you.

hmm..ain n non had already known abt dis..as for kisha n ita, fyi, i've got a place in NIE! so im going there after i graduate fr nus later dis yr..insyaallah so how do u guys think i shld be addressed as?..stick to miss yana? i noe yana sounds very minah-ish la..haha miss mariana is way too long dun u think?...miss mama is a no-no definitely..kwang3
its amazing to see how dynamic our future careers are gonna be among the five of us.. we already have a customer relations officer, a research executive (well dats wat was written on her name card..entah ape je yg dia research..yahoo auction mebbi? hehe just kidding) we also haf an aspiring entrepreneur and a banker in the making..n lastly a teacher ;-)
whatever our careers are n no matter how occupied we are with other commitments in our lives, i hope all of us will continue to hang out as often as we can k..dats the only way to stay connected i guess..ok, i noe im getting all so feeling2 abt this..hope none of u are getting teary eyes reading dis ;-p

5 ladies waiting outside...they talked n they went their separate ways...kish and non went sumwhere....ain ita n ma went back to their hotel rm....2 of them nd to do their prayers n ita desprately nd to pee......
they were in the hotel rm.....ita rushed to the toilet...ain stopped ita.....
ain said: kasi kiter masuk dulu lah...we nd to get our prayers done......
ita said: ok lah....
ita agreed n gaf in to them....ain went in....a few seconds later she went out....
ain said:i nampak syaitan.....(shriek)
ita said: maner...
mariana said: -she din say anyting-
we ran n ain decided to turn on the radio....
ain said:on radio azan maghrib....
ita said:ok...
mariana said:-she din say anything again-
they tried to on it....ita tried to increase the volume but nothing happen n there she is.....all covered up in white.....pontianak or pochong....the 3 of them crawled to the sofa....
many prayers were uttered but there she is coming nearer.....coming to ita's direction....n all ita could say was ALLAHU AKBAR.....she repeated it many many tyms but she kept coming nearer n ita lk at her in the eyes n she did the same thing....both eyes locked.......

She is so tensed & quiet that u wldnt believe tat tat is her... Kisha Kisha..

The phones have been ringing non-stop today. Everyone is vying for that position. The response have been overwhelming. This is encouraging. The only problem is.. MY COMPANY IS NOT LOOKING FOR A FREAKING BUILDING SUPERVISOR! Tell me what is needed to be built in a production company?? I always "build sandcastles" here (read: dreaming), but need no supervision for that. Only then can I determine if it will be 4 or 5 storey high, made of sand or maybe go the !kung bushmen way and make my castles out of straws and mud or even cow's dung... u get my drift ya...
So someone has advertised in The Recruits and now all TOM, Dick, Harry and Phua Chu Kang wannabes are calling the office.
Its a sabotage I tell you. SABOTAGE....

Yeah.. So Non and I caught the fireworks. Partial fireworks. It was quite big for partial fireworks. Imagine if we had caught the whole fireworks. Garantuan man..So thank me for the position that disallow us to be shocked out of our wits by a colossal fireworks presentation..
Aaaah..Pure sweetness.
Actually above is a recycled one. I snapped it last August. As I've mentioned, the partial fireworks is too enormous to capture on camera.
Fireworks aside. There is this period of time on new years day. Just after we crossed over to the new year. Between midnight and 1 a.m. In this one hour window, people believed that they somehow acquire a certain power to do something that they will never think of doing some other time. Let's just call it the Post countdown syndrome.
This syndrome attacks those who are in the company of like minded syndrome patients. Different patients react differently. It is very hard to diagnose who will do what under the influence of the Post countdown syndrome. I myself, have witnessed 3 differents accounts.
Subject (s) 1
A group of typical adolescent mats who feels that a new year is a new beginning. Last year is so.. last year. Maybe one of them has just got himself a new digicam. So he brings it along with him to capture new memories..
However when the portal of the Post Countdown syndrome opens, these mats are hit by the thought that they are there for a reason. A task. The task, to take photos WITH people.
Bear in mind that I am seated on the huge stairs of Marina Square. Hell I didn't know how valuable those seats are even after the hoo haa of the fireworks have ended. Couples are still seating around, some loners spotted too (emo on new year's day?? too cliche boboi). Back to those rug rats.
From afar, they aim for a target (i.e kental looking people with oversize black framed glasess. In groups, but ideally couples who are in an amourous situation and loners). Once spotted, they zoom in. Cameraman in position. Two punks go in to pose a picture and walk away. Leaving their victims basked in confusion. Huhu..
Subject(s) 2
A second group of mats who wants racial harmony: between foreign workers and locals. They cheer and waves like there's no tomorrow whenever a swarm of banglas moves past the them.
They even improvised by spicing it up with bhangra moves and singing the latest hindi tunes to make the banglas feel right at home. (don't ask me how I know it's the latest tunes) truly living up the Singapore Gahmen's policy of racial harmony.
Subject(s) 3
AHA.. For this one, we had front row seats. We see two Banglas dressed to the nines (i.e high waisted n i mean HIGH, jeans and polos). We see a group of Filipinos maid, with sooper good employess who have released them for the night. Banglas approach maids. Maids were busy posing for photos. Banglas smile smile. Banglas said “Friend Friend?” and shove their handphones towards the maids. Maids ignore. Maids got up and scram. Banglas still smile smile and follow. And stop behind us.
Alamak don't tell me they mistake us for maids.. Ok no. We look too uber cool to be on a “maids-day-out” adventure. So they scrammed.
That all sums up the Post Countdown Syndrome that I had encountered. A warning though, a clear diagnose is still impossible. However a keen eye will allow early detection. Bear that in mind.. Till next year. Outz.
